Awarded Woodside Energy Contract

Wiltrading STACE awarded Woodside Energy contract for: “Provision of Production Safety Materials and Associated Services” 

Wiltrading STACE Pty Ltd. has been awarded a contract for the provision of services and materials for all production safety systems and equipment on Woodside Energy Ltd (Woodside) operated onshore assets, FPSO’s and offshore assets in Australia.

As the selected contractor for Woodside, Wiltrading STACE will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, testing, certification and supply of materials for all fixed and portable firefighting systems, breathing air systems, lifeboats, rescue boats, davits, life rafts, personal rescue equipment and mechanical systems. Wiltrading STACE will also collaborate with Woodside to optimise the maintenance workflow, which will help reduce operational expenditure through the life of the contract.

Wiltrading STACE’s commitment to growth and support of local businesses in the Pilbara, has been bolstered with the award of the Woodside contract. As part of the contract award, Wiltrading STACE is committed to further expansion of its Karratha operations by increasing its existing footprint and resource levels in the region, thereby supporting local business and the community.

Wiltrading General Manager, Nick Eisenhut described the 5-year contract award as being in tune with Wiltrading STACE’s strategy of providing a complete safety service offering to the Oil and Gas market.

We Acquired Port Curtis Sea Safety Services

Wiltrading STACE is pleased to announce as of 8th November 2021, through our parent company ARA Group, we have acquired the business & assets of Port Curtis Sea Safety Services (PCSSS) in Gladstone, QLD.

PCSSS is a small family-owned business, unique in the area that was started 11 years ago to supply product & services to the local Maritime & Industrial sectors in the Gladstone area. It comprises a busy life raft station servicing life rafts, lifejackets and immersion suits. It also boasts a large, registered pressure test station servicing breathing air systems and apparatus for the local industrial sector, as well as the Barrier Reef dive industry. PCSSS comes with high quality agencies such as Bauer, L&W Compressors, 3M Scott Safety, MSA Safety, Survitec, Fujikura etc.

Port Curtis Sea Safety Services (PCSSS) will reside under Wiltrading STACE and become our 7th established national operations centre. Wiltrading STACE will expand the current service offering to include complimentary safety services including firefighting equipment servicing and lifeboat & davit servicing to capitalise on the growing Gladstone Port precinct, the largest multi-commodity port in Queensland.

We Were Awarded Shell Prelude FLNG fire fighting and life saving systems services contract

Wiltrading STACE Pty Ltd. has been awarded a Shell Australia Pty Ltd. contract for an undisclosed sum for the provision of services and materials for fire fighting and life saving systems on-board the Prelude FLNG facility.

As a selected keystone contractor for Shell Prelude, Wiltrading STACE will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, testing and certification of all fire fighting and life saving appliances on-board the Prelude FLNG facility, and will provide supervision and technical support to Shell Prelude’s technicians and operators. Wiltrading STACE will also assist Shell with the management of the Planned Maintenance Services through its Systems Asset Management System, which will help reduce operational expenditure through the life of the contract.

Services will commence when the Shell Prelude FLNG facility is installed and commissioned off the northwest coast of Western Australia. The Prelude FLNG development will be Shell’s first deployment of its FLNG technology, and will allow for the production, liquefaction, storage and transfer of LNG at sea, as well as the ability to process and export liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and condensate.

Wiltrading STACE General Manager, Michael Connolly described the win as being in step with Wiltrading STACE’s strategy of providing a complete safety service offering to the Oil and Gas market and illustrates the confidence that Shell Australia shares in Wiltrading STACE.
